                    <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Die klassische Einführung in die Chemie ist die allgemeine und anorganische Chemie. In diesem Kapitel werden auch wir zunächst die Grundlagen legen, auf denen die nächsten Kapitel aufbauen.</p><p>Zu den Grundlagen gehört zunächst einmal eine Idee davon, was Materie ist und was die kleinsten Einheiten sind, aus denen die Materie aufgebaut ist: den Atomen. Da Atome zu klein sind, um sie z. B. im Mikroskop zu studieren, müssen wir uns mit Zeichnungen und Konzepten begnügen. Diese sind nicht wirklich Komplex, aber der Atomaufbau ist schon etwas abstrakt. Trotzdem muss man den Aufbau der Atome verstanden habe, alles andere baut darauf auf.</p><p>Wir lernen in diesem ersten Kapitel auch relevante Einheiten kennen, die von hier ab immer wieder vorkommen. Das Mol etwa. Oder Elementarladungen. Radioaktivität ist eines der Themen, die sich direkt aus dem Aufbau des Atomkerns ergeben.</p><p>Die Elektronen, obwohl klein und praktisch ohne Masse, sind der Schlüssel zu den chemischen Reaktionen und zu den Elementen. Wie die Elektronen in einem Atom angeordnet sind, wird uns bis zum Ende des Kurses begleiten.</p><h2 id="wegweiser-durch-den-abschnitt">Wegweiser durch den Abschnitt</h2><p>Die Kapitel in diesem Kurs bauen sehr stark aufeinander auf und sie sollten nacheinander durchgearbeitet werden. Zu Beginn eines jeden Kapitels fassen wir noch einmal zusammen, worum es geht und was man auf jeden Fall vorher verstanden haben sollte.</p>
